Safe Paw Ice Melter for Dogs and Cats

Safe%20Paw.jpg

This Safe Paw Ice Melter would be a handy product to have in the house. As the temperatures rise in the day the snow will melt and then as the sun goes down, ice will form on steps and walkways overnight. Many of us use rock salt to make the walks less treacherous for us. But what we don't think about is how treacherous the salt can be on our pet's paws.

Our pets go outside, then come in with snow crystallized between the pads of their paws. Salt is a corrosive substance. They then proceed to lick off the ice and of course are ingesting the salt. This can burn their mouth, irritate the digestive tract and stomach, possibly causing vomiting. On the pet's skin, the salt can cause inflammation and dermatitis.

You would never want that rock salt clinging to my skin or my children's, and not your dogs or kitty cats either! It is destructive to rugs, floors, grass, asphalt and concrete. Safe Paw Ice Melter has no salt and is a non-corrosive compound that melts the ice. So next time you need to melt the ice around your home, try this product out!
