• Overheating--If the dog is inside a heated house, watch out for excessive panting which may indicate your pooch is too hot. Remember he/she already is wearing a fur coat.
• Costumes should not constrict your pet's ability to breathe easily or relieve themselves.
• If your pet is going trick or treating with you, he or she should have a reflector on the collar, lead or costume.
