Pet-Temp Ear Thermometer

Pet%20Thermometer.jpg

At Super Cool Pets we like to monitor our pets' health ourselves (see Pet Checkup Kit), as well as relying upon our vet. Today our Golden Retriever, Jessie, is definitely under the weather. Instead of wondering and worrying, taking her body temp is a good way to know for sure if she should make a visit to her doctor.

The Pet-Temp Ear Thermometer takes a pet's temp in their ear, rather than their unsanitary derriere. The thermometer is designed especially for their deep, horizontal ear canal. An accurate reading is displayed digitally in one second. It has an ergonomic shaped sensor probe for taking the temperature of our companion animals and is accurate on cats, dogs, kittens and puppies, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and chinchillas.

The thermometer is not particularly cheap, but still cheaper than an unnecessary visit to the vet's office. Definitely an item to have in our pet's medicine chest.

At Amazon and Drs. Foster & Smith.
