All-Natural Mosquito-Repellent Dog Tags from Bug Bam

During peak mosquito season, we are reluctant to let our dogs outdoors for too long after dark for fear of the suffering those little buggers can cause, especially transmitting heartworm disease. June 21-27th is National Mosquito Control Awareness Week. Bet you didn't know there was such a thing!
Many areas even endure heavy mosquito infestation during the day. Bug Bam products work by emitting the insect-repellent scents of all natural, plant-based essential oils, masking the human and pet smells that attract mosquitoes. Research has shown Bug Bam's main ingredient, geraniol, to be an effective plant-based mosquito repellent.

Bug Bam Pet Tags use the scent of 100% natural essential oils to repel mosquitoes without using the potentially harmful chemicals found in flea collars and traditional topical applications. Bug Bam's all natural ingredients can also repel fleas and ticks.

Each tag lasts up to 15 days, with 2 tags per pack for 30 days of protection. To prolong the life of the tags, try removing them (especially during non-peak infestation periods and when the dogs are inside) and sealing them in plastic bags to maintain the smell until the dogs go out again or for use after dark.
Not recommended for our cats as they generally dislike the scent of citronella oil, which is based on geraniol.
