Hummingbird Slow Motion Videos
We live in a sub-tropical climate that is (usually) quite warm and comfortable (except this winter). At least one pair of Ruby-Throats is back this year, buzzing around and feasting off the Firespike bushes and Bottlebrush tree. A Firespike right outside our office window affords a close-up of the birds feeding. One perches for minutes at a time on a tiny stem of the bush.
For those of you still in snow country, below are close-up videos of hummers feeding--the first out of someone's hand! The second two are set to music and quite beautiful.
