Use Wood Pellets for Inexpensive Biodegradable Cat Litter

Wood pellets
are made from compacted sawdust as a byproduct of saw milling and other timber activities. The pellets are generally used as fuel for stoves or as livestock bedding. Lifehacker reports that cat owners are using them as an inexpensive and eco-friendly cat litter-- a 40 lb sack sells for around $4-6 in the US.
