Wal-Mart Introduces New Pure Balance Ultra Premium Dog Food

If you shop at Wal-Mart, but for obvious reasons buy your dog food somewhere else, you may want to reconsider. Wal-Mart Stores Inc is launching its own brand of "ultra premium" dog food to better compete with specialty chains such as PetSmart and Petco.

The new brand will be called Pure Balance, an expansion on Wal-Mart's Ol' Roy brand, which was named after one of founder Sam Walton's hunting dogs. Each one of their super premium recipes contains no corn, wheat or soy with no fillers, artificial flavors or preservatives.
