We love the customizable cat furniture at CatsPlay.com. This traditional-style Kitty Kabinet is designed to hide a litter box, while providing storage for accessory items such as a scoop, liner bags, toys, treats, and more. The components include the base, a storage cubby and a drawer, which can be assembled in the order of your choice. Perfect for condo or apartment living where space is at a premium!
The Kitty Kabinet is made from a combination of solid wood and cabinet grade plywood, using no particle or fiber board products, with nearly airtight construction. It hides the litter box, stops the tracking of litter, and traps any unpleasant odor. The bottom of the Kabinet is lined with durable plastic laminate for easy clean up.
Kitty Kabinet in Pine, Oak or Maple wood with Candlelite, Natural or Java finish.

Keep your pets warm! Your pet's natural coat may not be enough, but there is lots of affordable winter pet gear available. For the month of January, Save up to 40% on coats, warming beds, and more
We recommend many amazing Amazon pet products here at Super Cool Pets. Here's one reason, aptly expressed by the ever-entertaining bookofjoe in Amazon Return Policy:
If you're the sort who occasionally or more than occasionally returns purchases for whatever reason, you've got to love Amazon even more than the average online shopper.
The company makes it so easy if you decide you don't want something, and even lets you be honest and check "Don't want/need anymore" as a reason for the return, instead of the usual white lie of "Too big/small/wrong color/etc."
Contrast this: logging onto the site, finding the item(s) you want to return, having the site generate a return barcode and a return mailing label -- Postage Paid! -- for you to print out and tape to the box it came in, then giving the package to your mailman or dropping it off at the post office (total elapsed time about 5 minutes)...
With this: driving to the store the purchase came from, finding the return area, waiting to be served by a person who can handle the return, then filling out forms and showing I.D., lying as to the reason, getting a receipt for the return (while hoping it shows up on your next credit card statement), then heading back to your car and driving home (total elapsed time at least 30 minutes and potentially unlimited).
I hate to ask it... but how do you spell "no-brainer?"

The Sleepypod Mini Mobile Pet Bed pampers your little pet in luxurious faux fur and foam, either at home or on the road. In these chilly temperatures, you may be concerned about keeping your pet warm enough. We suggested the cozy Cloudpuff blanket a while back. In frigid weather, however, that may not be enough.
You can add the Warmer Kit for Sleepypod Mini
along with a Sleepypod A/C Car Adapter for road trips.

Drs. Foster and Smith is having a Christmas Blowout Sale until January 31, 2009. You can save up to 25% on their most popular pet products and up to 45% on hundreds of your fave aquarium supplies.
We happened across an interesting article recently at WSJ.com of all places, The Rise of Beds and Falls of Dogs:
Without fanfare or marketing, the bedding industry has been raising the altitude of its products, satisfying customer preferences for ever-thicker mattresses. Yet that preference is creating a hazard for a tall bed's shortest occupant: the dog.
Anecdotally, veterinarians across the country report among house dogs a rise in such disorders as elbow and shoulder arthritis, hip dysplasia and degenerative disk disease. As the lifespan of pets rises thanks to better food and medicine, the old dog that once leapt with abandon now hesitates on the edge of bed -- or jumps and hurts itself.
The peril is too new to have generated peer-reviewed veterinary research. But the problem is evident in the white-hot popularity of a relatively new product: pet stairs, specifically designed to lead Fido from bed to floor by land rather than air.
Pet stairs are one of the fastest-growing categories at national pet retailers such as Drs. Foster and Smith, which offers five models ranging from $40 to $170. Vermont-based Orvis, the upscale outdoors retailer, launched its first pet staircase four years ago and now carries four.
Dogs. Heavy Duty Carpeted Stair-Steps for Dogs are available in two and three-step versions, Merlot, Soft Sage and Oatmeal.
Cats. Steps are also for your kitty cats to help them up to a bed or sofa, or to see out the window. Stair-Steps for Cats are available in two and three step versions in Cocoa, Espresso, Forest Green, Merlot, Oatmeal, or Soft Sage.
Info. Pet stairs and steps put your pet's health and safety on the line--this is an area where quality is paramount. Soundly-constructed ramps and steps can be reliable workhorses for many years. Consider where the stairs will be used, how high it will need to reach, whether you want it to be portable, as well as the type of material used in its construction. Drs Foster and Smith Educational Staff provides a nifty Ramps & Steps Comparison Chart.
