Walker's Path Illuminating Belt for Dog Walking in the Dark

illuminatingbelt.JPG

In the upcoming months, many of us are going to find ourselves walking our dogs in the dark, whether evening or early morning. This lightweight nylon Walker's Path Illuminating Belt is a hands-free safety light that is worn comfortably around the waist to illuminate the path ahead. It has two pockets to hold keys, energy bars, and other small gear.

The LED on the belt can be set to three different light intensities so dog walkers can see the road. It can be adjusted 110° horizontally for use as either a wide-angle floodlight or narrow spotlight without perturbing other walkers. As a safety feature, its rear-mounted red LEDs and reflective orange detailing provide visibility to vehicles approaching from behind.

Calming Cap Helps Reduce Dog Anxiety

thundershirtcap.jpg

Some of us share our lives with anxiety-prone pets. This Calming Cap can help lessen a dog's anxiety and/or aggression in high-stress situations such as car rides, vet visits and grooming sessions, dog introductions.

The Calming Cap has a single-panel sheer fabric window that makes the dog's vision less distinct, while still allowing the dog to navigate his/her surroundings. It is not a blindfold. The cap uses velcro straps and easy to put on and remove.

Corduroy Critters Dog Toys

corduroycritters.jpg

One of many things we like about Fall is that we can start wearing corduroy again. We have always been a cord fan for our own wardrobe and have found the material also makes for soft dog toys.

These wide-wale Corduroy Critters dog toys have knotted floppy legs, 5 squeakers, and a stuffed body perfect for tugging, fetching or just snuggling up to. In Monkey, Bear, Donkey and Rabbit.

Cast Iron Dog and Cat Wood Stove Steamers

Whether you fight the winter chill by electric, natural gas or wood stove, pretty soon many of us are going to be turning up the indoor heat. Dress up your home and wood stove with a cast iron steamericon to add healthy moisture to that dry fall and winter air.

These rust-resistant steamers hold three quarts of water, so they won't run dry when left on your stove overnight. The designs look good year round and make a terrific gift.

Decorative Stainless Steel Bella Bowls for Pets

bellabowls3.jpg

After a long, leisurely summer of enjoying our meals outdoors, we are thinking of upgrading our now-grimy pet food and water bowls. These non-skid Bella Bowls for both cats and dogs combine a stainless interior with an attractive poly-resin exterior.

Their stainless steel interior resists bacteria. A removable soy-based rubber ring on the bottom prevents spills and reduces the clattering noise that ensues as the bowl is nosed around the room. Available in 4 sizes and a palette of decorative colors, above.
